The Peppol network assigns receiving access points dynamic addresses. That is, there is no fixed link between the access points. Instead, connecting is a component of the transmitting process. A request is made to the Service Metadata Locator (SML) for the address details of the receiver’s Service Metadata Provider (SMP) using the receiver’s Peppol ID. The SMP responds with the formats that the receiver supports as well as the address of the receiving access point. If the files to be delivered are in a format that the recipient understands, the process of sending them to the receiving access point begins. This configuration allows you to reach any network partner at any moment, in keeping with the motto “Connect once, connect forever.”

Payments are processed more quickly
An electronic invoice is often transmitted in a few minutes to the recipient’s system, minimising the time required for payment.
Your data are secured
The E-invoicing solution encrypts all information in your online invoices and keeps your data private until it is delivered.
Reduce costs
By removing paper from your invoicing procedures and automating the invoicing process, you may save a significant amount of time and money using e-invoices.
How e-Invoicing Works on PEPPOL
Sender
You generate an e-invoice using any of our InvoiceNow-enabled ERP solutions, including SAP Business One, Sage 300, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Instead than downloading and emailing the invoice separately, you send it directly via PEPPOL with a single click in your ERP system.
Transfer
Your e-invoice is delivered to your chosen recipient via the secure PEPPOL Network, commonly known as the InvoiceNow Network in Singapore.Do note that the recipient must be registered on PEPPOL for this to work.
Recipient
Your receiver receives the e-invoice via their accounting system rather than email, ready for them to complete the appropriate approvals and payment to your Business.
